11 Months Old!

Since it is one week from his first birthday, it's about time I post his 11 month pictures! Enjoy!

10 Months Old!

Ok, we are getting a little too close to one year! Time goes so fast. Nathan is cruising a bit along furniture while standing, eating more and more "real food" (which is nice, because I can just give him some of what we are eating), is great at picking it up with his fingers, napping only twice a day most days, breaking into baby babble more and more, and waving bye-bye and hi while saying "ayyyyy!" He's had his first haircut. He's enjoying his little friends in the church nursery every week as well.

 Here's Phoebe at 10 months, Joanna, and Will.

Nine Months Old!

It was as if he wanted to wait until he was exactly nine months to start pulling up! First in the pack 'n play, then in the crib, now on anything he can grab onto and stabilize, our little guy wants to stand. This months stats: 29 inches, 20 lbs., 15 ozs. He is very aware of his siblings, and on Sunday mornings in the nursery he rarely sleeps so that he can watch all that is going on. My favorite Nathan thing right now is that he likes to turn the pages of his board books, and gets frustrated when he can't open the book or turn a page. He looks so grown up doing it. He also likes to kneel on one knee like he is proposing and play with a toy. He has experienced his first Christmas and New Year's, and is now the "big cousin" to the newest addition to our extended family.

Here's Will's 9 month post, with links to the girls' posts at the bottom. Nathan has had tofu, like Phoebe did, but has not spent 24 hours without me yet. He has had black beans, like Joanna had, and loves to clap as well. He is not as mobile or big as Will was at this age, but definitely as cute!!!

8 Months Old! (a month late)

 

My apologies about the delay! Nathan's eighth month of life was filled with "firsts"...first crawl, first Thanksgiving, first real snow, first Christmas tree, first zucchini. Also, thanks to some loving family members, he could have said his first word, "Emma". He also developed the skill of smiling every time he saw the camera. Here's some evidence...
