A Wonderful Birthday!

Greg and Phoebe treated me to a wonderful birthday tonight. We went to Shiraz, one of my favorite places, to have falafel, one of my favorite things to eat. Then we went to the mall to pick out a wall hanging for our house in Reynoldsburg. Then a trip to the Pie and Ice Cream Kitchen for yummy ice cream. To top it all off, we went on a walk around the reservior. What a great evening!

A Visit with Nonnie and Papa

I got to spend 5 days with my Nonnie and Papa this week! I don't get to come to their house as much as I would like, because they live in Mississippi, but we had lots of fun this week. Daddy and I played the piano together. We went to the splash park where I was the littlest kid. We looked at paintings of animals in Hernando. I rocked in Daddy's rocker from when he was little and on his rocking horse. I played in Nonnie and Papa's back yard and went to church and saw all their friends. Nonnie is a wonderful hostess and Papa works very hard. This week I also started saying "ball" and "mm" for "milk" and "ook" for "book". I am growing up!

We're moving...we'll miss you, Louisville!

We're excited to share the news that Greg has accepted the associate pastor position in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, which is just outside of Columbus. The upcoming month will be busy with house hunting, packing, and enjoying the wonderful Louisvillians we know and love. To celebrate Greg's news, we took a walk on the Belvedere downtown and savored the view of the Ohio River. We are looking forward to the upcoming adventure that God has given us, and are very thankful for the countless experiences and lessons and memories we've been blessed with here in Louisville!

My Birthday Buddy

I told Mommy to write this post. I wanted to dedicate it to my birthday buddy, my cousin (actually my Ausin) Tara. We had a birthday party together the week after our real birthdays, and here are some pictures. The party was at my other Ausin Erin's house, which is also Cuncle Alex's house. Cuncle Brett was also there, and Ausin Jenna couldn't be there, but she sent me some really pretty dresses to wear. I love my family!

Father's Day

Dear Daddy,

You are always there for me. You make me laugh. You work hard every day so that I can have food to eat and a bed to sleep in. You give me hugs and kisses. I'm so glad you're my Daddy. You love Jesus and teach me about Him, too. I love you!

Phoebe's First Birthday!

Here is the footage of Phoebe eating her first birthday cake. Mommy had made some healthy cake for her (which tastes like a sweet bran muffin), but Phoebe was not interested. So, instead, we bought a huge cupcake her to enjoy. And, as you can see in the video, she enjoyed it!!

11 Months Old and Walking!

Here is a little exerpt of what Phoebe's up to these days: walking, playing with her stuffed animals, falling and bumping her head on the coffee table, putting anything and everything in her mouth, making different babbling noises. This video was taken on her 11 month birthday, which was May 12th.
