9 Months Old!

Here is Joanna at 9 months. Recent milestones: eating more solid foods (roast beef, cheese, black beans, pears), crawling, pulling up to her knees, doing okay with two naps some days, drinking from a sippy cup without handles. At her 9 month check-up, she weighed around 18 pounds and was 28 inches long. Phoebe was around 16 pounds at this age, and about the same height. Click here for Phoebe at nine months. Joanna's favorite babble word is "da", and she loves to clap. When trying to get her to wave, she claps. When teaching her sign language, she claps. She still thinks Phoebe is hilarious, especially when Phoebe jumps onto furniture. I often hear the two of them in their room before nap time and bed time giggling, and Phoebe will play peek-a-boo with Joanna from one crib to another. We love our little Jo-Jo!!
