Christmas Moments

This year Greg and I hosted Christmas for the first time, and we also realized it was the first time since before college that we had stayed home for Christmas. That was way back in 1994! Both sets of grandparents made the journey here, and we had some special moments together as we celebrated the coming of Jesus by opening gifts, attending church together, eating traditional treats, discovering our surroundings a bit, playing games, and playing in the snow. The grandparents also helped us out a great deal as they did lots of helpful things around our house, like hanging mini-blinds, cleaning the kitchen/dining room floor, hemming a shower curtain, cleaning out the flower bed, cleaning the bathroom, putting away the Christmas decorations, etc. It was great preparation for the arrival of the baby. We are eagerly awaiting her debut any day!
