Thank you Nonnie!

The votes are in and everyone agrees that it has been a great week with Nonnie (not that the outcome was ever in any doubt!). There have been a number of short nights and long days this week, but with Nonnie's help we all made it through. Nonnie has be a huge help - walked the floors late at night, cooked for all of us (with plenty of leftovers in the refrigerator and freezer for later), cleaned, shopped, changed diapers, and sang with Phoebe, just to name a few things. Nonnie, it was great to be able to spend this week with you and we look forward to having you (and Papa) back soon, seeing you in Olive Branch, or somewhere in between sometime soon.

With Mimi and Nonnie around, the first two weeks of Phoebe's life have proven (once again) that we have a great family who love us and support us. We love you and are thankful for all of you.

Now the real fun begins. The three little Savages on their own. We're heading out for our first family walk to break in the new stroller. After that, only the Lord knows . . . we'll keep you posted.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Prov 3:5-6, NIV).
